How to use the Meeting Time Finder

  1. Pick City 1 and City 2. City 1 is the base, and the table lists its 24 hours.
  2. Set the date and the working hours. The default is 9:00 to 18:00.
  3. Green rows are hours when every city is in work hours; yellow rows are hours when everyone is between 07:00 and 22:00. The summary above lists the overlapping windows.

How it works — Meeting Time Finder

Each city's local time is calculated from the international time zone data built into your browser. The base city's date and hour are converted to a universal instant and then shown in the other cities, so daylight saving time is applied correctly for that date. Cities with half-hour offsets such as India are shown exactly. The table lists the base city's hours from 00:00 to 23:00, and a row turns green when every city's local time falls inside the working hours you entered. Cities whose date differs get a next-day or previous-day label so nothing is confusing.

Planning a global meeting

For distant cities such as Seoul and New York there is almost no overlap, so someone has to accept an early morning or a late evening. Use the yellow rows and rotate who takes the inconvenient slot to keep it fair. In the weeks when daylight saving time starts or ends the offset changes by an hour, so enter the exact meeting date to check.

Tips

  • Write the city name and time zone next to the time in your invitation to avoid confusion.
  • Narrow the hours, for example 10 to 17, to search with a stricter definition of work time.
  • If nothing overlaps, drop one city or share a recording of the meeting.
  • Check twice with different dates around daylight saving changeovers.

Notes & limitations

Daylight saving and time zone rules can change, and this tool follows the time zone data in your browser. After sending an invitation, confirm the local time with the other person. Weekends and public holidays are not considered.
